Sponsors and Support Network
Without the generous support of our sponsors and network of friends, the microcredit project would not have gotten off the ground. A heartfelt thank you from all the Kyangwali microcredit business women, their families, and PeopleWeaver.
Thank you to all the individuals who have supported our projects with donations and encouragement.
Thanks to my good friend Maria. She has provided support, mentoring, and inspiration for the work in Uganda and elsewhere. She has taken time from her very busy schedule to give individual encouragement and help to those in Uganda. Maria has provided donations for administration support, education sponsorship, and MC loans.
Thanks to those at C♥dy's Foundation for your support and partnership with PeopleWeaver. Sissy and Dave took a poster to Uganda where all the MC women, administrators and others signed it; later the poster was given to Jeanne. This is a cherished gift – thank you.
Thank you to the Columbine Lions Club, Longmont, Colorado for the donation of eye glasses. Contact Don Greenhalge at 303-776-8841 for more information.
Thanks to Happy and Jill at Curves in Niwot Colorado. They generously allowed us to display the MC baskets at their facility. Baskets were sold and we were able to get the word out about our project.
Thank you to Eric and Boris at Educate! for your patience, mentoring, inspiration, and work in Uganda. You remind us that the young can inspire the "more mature youth."
Thank you to Zonta Foothills Club of Boulder County for their generous donations to the microcredit project. The donations have been received just before we go to Kyangwali in January 2009. While there we will be able to interview loan applicants with the knowledge we have the money for several loans. Zonta members generously decided to forego a holiday gift exchange and instead donate to the women at Kyangwali. Thank you.
A special thanks to Mimi Bell, Dixie Piland, Uta Pippig, Ben Pryhoda, Jen Soule, Pat Troeltzsch, Gayle Weiss.
Our projects could not be done without the support of the administrators and others in Kyangwali. These people believe in and work for a better life for the people of their community. Thank you for your dedication, guidance, ideas, and friendship.
To the people and children of Kyangwali and all the members of the Kyangwali Women’s MicroCredit Project — Thank You.
