Nyirasafari, Bigirabagabo
- Born: 1958
- Country: Refugee from DR Congo
- Lives at Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda
Bigirabagabo's family consists of seven children, two of which she has adopted.
Bigirabagabo explains "In 1997 I came to Kyangwali after facing rape and violence in my country. I had to escape with my young daughters. During this time we were separated from my husband and did not know where he was. When I arrived in Kyangwali I learned that he had been a refugee in the camp but with no one to help him he died in his hut of starvation and lack of medication. Refugees who knew our family when we lived at home showed me his tomb.
If given a loan, Bigirabagabo would raise goats and sell palm oil in her village.
