(N. Habinka)

  • Born: 1966 (~44)
  • Country: Refugee from DR Congo
  • Lives at Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Uganda

Paskaziya has five children. Her husband was killed in the war. After Paskaziya was threatened she and her children fled the Congo. During this time Paskaziya broke her leg and has not be able to walk well since.

Paskaziya describes her situation as "We are poor and vulnerable; our problems include sickness, poverty and lack of money to pay school fees for the children. The loan would help me to raise some animals; I am weak but would be able to look after them. This would enable me to care for my children and get basic needs like food, medical treatment, school fees, etc. My plan would be to buy goats and supplies so we can dig."

"I confidently have strong hope that I will be able to pay the loan back after one year. I will even be able to help orphans around me after getting more profit. Thank you, Paskaziya"
