I am a registered refugee in Kyangwali; aged 54 years old. I am very much impressed with the work you are doing to develop widow refugees in the camp.
Our family was big but we are now few due to war in DRC. When the war started I came to Uganda in 1999. I faced very many problems in the camp like lack of food, medication, clothing, shelter, etc.
I have four children and three orphans I am looking after. Due to the war my husband was forced to marry two more wives and I am the third. So I am suffering with children alone. It is hard for me to dig and provide food and other needs to my family.
But I got hope when I heard there is Kyangwali microcredit which helps people with loans. And today I have come with much interest to see that God may save me through this group.
I would like to request for a loan of 120,000sh. How I will use the loan is as follows: I will buy a goat at 80,000sh, then 40,000sh for farming, planting beans and maize.
I know through farming I will be able to pay back the loan as the season comes well. Only two sacks of beans can pay back the loan. And other money can still help me as a capital and profit to help my children.
Then this goat will produce and in two years I think to have got four to six goats.
I will be glad if the above is put into consideration. And may the Lord God bless you as you keep helping refugee and homeless people in Uganda Kyangwali.
