I am by name Nyirabakunzi Tereza, a Congolese refugee staying in Kyangwali camp. I am a widow of 65 years old taking care of my three children.
I lost my husband during the 1995 war that took place in DRC.
My children are attending school here in Uganda and one of them, Francis Mpatswe, is 20 years old and has completed senior four. Others are also going on with studies. I would love to start a project of livestock and farming so that I can support them in future.
My plan is as follows:
- 1 goat that will cost 60,000sh
- Digging (farming) that will cost 40,000sh
- Planting that will cost 20,000sh
Expected benefits:
- In my farm I expect to harvest 2 sacs of beans that will be sold for 200,000sh (each sac at 100,000sh)
- I also expect to harvest 3 sacs of maize that will be sold at 90,000 (each sac at 30,000sh)
- I expect my goat after a year to have produced 2 kids. I can resell the goat at 80,000sh
I am hoping to hear a positive answer.
Yours faithfully, Nyirabakunzi Tereza
