I am a 25 year old single female, staying in the Kyangwali Refugee Settlement. I am a Congolese by nationality, with a mother and young brothers but stay alone in Uganda as a student. I have faced many challenges in life mainly due to lack of finance. This is the reason why I thought of coming to you and request this loan which would support me to sustain my life.
I am proposing to make a small business of selling G-nut powder so that my community can benefit and I will also satisfy my basic needs. I have decided to do this business after making my research on the importance of G-nut consumption and also the needs of my community. My business will benefit the community when G-nuts can be bought nearby (within the community) for direct consumption. People’s health will improve by getting proteins from the powder. When I get profit I can also help other suffering children.
I am estimating a profit of 20% and hope to pay back the loan after one year.
Budget:
- G-nuts 35kg * 2,400sh = 84,000sh
- Mill grinding 16,000sh
- Transportation for one person 20,000sh
I am a needy young lady because I have nowhere to get support to sustain my life. I will also able to utilize this loan properly and contribute to the economy of the society. I have hope and confidence in this project because of my experience.
I will be grateful if my request is put under your consideration.
Yours sincerely, Consolatrice Mahoro Ndimubanzi
