Her name is Angelique Mbinsemechi. In the Kinyabwisha language Mbinsemechi means someone who was born in the time of problems and trouble, and therefore parents will have much heartbreak.

Angelique is 15 years old. She is the 5th child born in a family of 9 children. Currently her mother looks after 4 boys and Angelique, 4 siblings are married.

As seen in the picture her father was attacked by disease, due to poverty he did not get medical treatment and died. His legs were swollen when he was sick as seen in the picture.

Angelique is waiting to get her grades from primary school. She very much hopes someone will sponsor her so she can continue her schooling.
