I am Joseph's older brother, I am 26 years old, I am still single, and have lived in Kyangwali since 1997; I will start the university soon. In the future I want to be a freedom fighter for my people, their rights are violated, they are backward and illiterate. I want to work with the government and see how I can achieve the goal of helping my people.
I am the Treasurer of COBURWAS Club
About my background, I was born in DR Congo in Kivu. My parents were peasant farmers, my mom is still in the Congo, she was persecuted and tortured, she failed to escape to Uganda. I am an orphan and I look after orphans. My father died last year from malaria and I am now heading the family, my father left two wives and 10 children, so I look after them. It is not easy; life is like that, full of ups and downs.
I stay with my step mom and some brothers and sisters.

- In August 2007 Marcel began attending Kyambogo University. After Marcel completes his French degree, he hopes to continue his education in political science or law. Marcel's education is being sponsored by Educate.
